Born and raised in Chicago (yes, he puts ketchup on his ketchup), Mitch Paradise is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. He is a member of the Writers Guild of America, West, and United Teachers of Los Angeles. Mitch gave up his beloved San Francisco to move south when hired originally to work in network television. Since then, working in both television and film, he adapted and produced Bleacher Bums, the prize-winning Chicago play about the hapless but lovable Cubs, as an original movie for Showtime, and has been published as a freelance writer in The Huffington Post, LACityBeat, Tribe, the Los Angeles Jewish Journal, LA Weekly and The Wrap.
